Abalone's spiritual meaning is one of solace, a connection to the ocean, the cycle of life, protection and ancient travel. Abalone carries energies of protection and emotional balance. It brings with it a natural shielding that blesses the person holding it with tranquility.

Qualities: Tranquility. Cleansing. Restorative. Protection. Rooted connection.

California abalone species have been heavily overfished in the past and are now protected. The abalone shells were purchased directly from a sustainable CA abalone farm, and 100% of that transaction goes to support their green abalone restoration and education project. These small shells come from abalone that naturally did not make it to full maturity.

Each pair is as unique as nature created them. The shells have been lightly polished but remain mostly raw in their organic form. Each pair varies slightly in size and color. **Please note, these abalone shells are quite delicate. Take care not to drop or crush them. If your item gets damaged at any point in your possession, please send us a message and we will happily repair it for you at no charge (other than the cost of shipping fees and any replacement materials if applicable)**

A beautiful alchemy of elements

I love the way these earrings look and feel. They have movement and make a delightful little sound when the shell brushes against the metal.
