Don't let the homemade part fool you... their stuff is gooooood. I find that nowadays, 'homemade' is often way more effective than store bought. It is way more rich with active ingredients and made fresh, so it doesn't contain fillers or preservatives that are required for drugstore items.
The FDA has many restrictions on food ingredients (albeit still not enough), but hardly regulate cosmetic ingredients. Aren't the things we put ON our bodies just as important as what we put IN our bodies? Considering our skin is the bodies largest organ in the human body, I'd say YES!
